Middle East airline may add Michigan flights. What's happening
Michigan flyers could see a new option for traveling to the Middle East and beyond if a U.A.E. airline follows through on the possibility of adding Detroit Metropolitan Airport routes. Emirates President Tim Clark has suggested that the Dubai-based airline may expand to Detroit Metropolitan Airport in Romulus, along with Denver International Airport in Denver, Colorado, and Philadelphia International Airport. These comments were made during an interview with Clark at the Routes World conference in Frankfurt, Germany. Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) currently offers flight service from 17 airlines. The Dubai-born airline currently operates 96 passenger flights per week between Dubai and the U.S.
