Gibson Injury: Red Wings Goalie Leaves Win, Postava Debuts - Gino Hard
John Gibson left the Red Wings' win over the Canucks with an upper-body injury, and Michal Postava made his NHL debut. The Detroit Red Wings are awaiting news on injured goalkeeper John Gibson, who suffered an upper-body injury during a 5-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks. Gibson did not come out for the third period and Michal Postava, who had never played an NHL game for the Red Wings, took over and made his NHL debut. This follows an injury to Daniil Tarasov, who is also dealing with an undisclosed injury. The win pushed the Red Wing to 4-3-3 and extended their point streak to six games.
