Wearing a Detroit Tigers-J Dilla baseball cap and a Beastie Boys t-shirt, the Detroit rapper performed 14 songs during a 25-minute set, including the world premiere of “On Up” — sampling the 1996 Jodeci hit “Get On Up” — dedicated to his son, Noah, who he had with partner and R&B singer Jhené Aiko.

Big Sean spoke to WDET’s Tia Graham last September during DON Weekend on why it’s important for him to focus on Detroit’s communities.
